Dang! My memory is dying. Picture post with an experiment later.. after zzzz ...
Starbucks = yum. We smuggled some of their vanilla frappuccinos over. Mmmm....I'm going to run out soon. Also: I keep on typing Starbucket instead of starbucks. Lol, bucket.
And.. left turn lights + American highways > my father. Hahaha.
Third Day:
- that large fountain in that other park was biiiiiiig. The place was deserted when we arrived, but 10 minutes later it was filled with people. Creeeeepy.
- millenium park and the freaking bean... lol. That bean was fun,
- Art Institute: I didn't recognize many of the paintings there. The paintings of the Greek gods/goddesses were nice though. Also: Van Gogh's portrait wasn't on display... )':
- It was foggy @ the Sears Tower... the elevator ride broke my ears. The view was nice though.
- free trolleys are the BEST INVENTIONS EVARRRRRR. My driver had one of those mustaches with the curl at the end. The trolley took us to the water tower.. for free.....!!
- water tower: we went the first day, but we came back to spend money. I went to AE and bought some American shorts (short shorts :[) there. I wanted to buy the pair that I saw the first day, but they were all gone (other were too big). Instead I bought a $40 pair.... *sob*.
- subway: my parents couldn't understand the ticket machine and almost wasted $10. Some nice lady bought the card from us and helped us. The subway was so much funit's been like, 5 years since I rode one.
- hotel: No free internet service = suck. I got a good rest though.
Fourth/Last Day:
- University of Chicago: ... we saw it. :/ My parents then had some discussion with me about my Uni plans. They rejected the idea of me leaving Ontario.and I wanted to go to UBC... harhar...
- Science Museum: We entered when they opened the doors and spent 5 hours there. We saw almost all of the exhibits. My favourite one was the .. uh.. all of them.
- We left Chicago and went to a Walmart in Michigan that we saw on the highway. Oh my god. Revolving plastic bags thing is epic. Why can't Canada have something like this?
- Drive Home: we entered Canada somewhere near 11pm and got home 3.5hs later. It was pouring too D':!I think I nearly died in the car. I couldn't sleep either since my mother was driving.
GOD I need rest. And i'm going to some party in an hour too. Dang... shouldn't have accepted that.. ;;
